prevent global warming and save the world!
Now,
when I count to three, each and every one of you hold your breath;
one... two....
OK, you can let your breath out now,
but put it into a plastic bag. We, humans, each exhale about 500 grams of
carbon dioxide a day so... if you held your breath for one minute and
then put that carbon dioxide in a bag and sealed it you've removed
0.4 grams from the atmosphere. Now if 6 billion of the 7 billion
people do the same that means that 2.4 million kilograms (2646 tons)
of CO2 removed from the atmosphere! Good job children!
Oh no, there are 2.3 billion tons of
carbon dioxide in the atmosphere! OK children, we need to do it
again, hold your breath on three; one... two.....
